Produce For October 18, 2025

Now that we’ve had the first frost we will mainly have bulk root vegetables for sale at this Saturday’s market. Possibly some more frost resistant vegs, like broccolini, turnips, Swiss chard and kale, will be available too. Bulk sales continue: $13.00 for a 10 pound bag of potatoes, beets, or carrots.

Saturday, October 18, may be the last full market for the season. We’ll let you know next week if bulk sales will continue.

Market Hours This Week

Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: For those of you who haven’t visited before, the Garden is located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm from the east side off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you’ll see us just across the road from the old barn.
